How we work

Six steps, no surprises.

    Discovery

    Free 1-hour consult on-site. We walk your yard, listen to how you use it, ask questions.

    Design

    2–6 weeks at a fixed fee. 2D plan, 3D renders, materials, plant palette.

    Permitting

    HOA submission. City permits. We file, follow up, and answer their questions.

  4. 4

    Build

    2–6 months. Your project manager sends a weekly photo update. You sleep.

  5. 5

    Walkthrough

    90-day touch-up window. Anything that settles or pops we fix on the house.

    Maintenance

    Optional ongoing care — irrigation tuning, plant replacement, hardscape sealing.

Do you handle design and construction together?

Yes. NHG is a design-build studio — the same team takes you from first sketch through final walkthrough. You can also hire us for design only.

What's included in the design tier price?

Each tier ($1,350 / $2,800 / $5,200+) covers a fixed scope of design deliverables — site plans, renderings, material specs, HOA submittal package depending on tier. Construction is priced separately based on materials and scope, typically $40K–$250K+.

Which cities in Orange County do you serve?

All of Orange County — including Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach, and surrounding cities. We're locally licensed (CSLB #1104364).

Can the design fee credit toward construction?

Yes — when you sign a construction contract with NHG within 12 months of design completion, the full design fee credits toward your build.
